Artists will arrive from everywhere from New Zealand to Falmouth to perform in the seventh annual Provincetown Jazz Festival. A three-day celebration of global jazz, the festival begins at 8 p.m. Friday at Provincetown Town Hall with New Zealand duo Adrienne and Josh Hindmarsh and String of Pearls.
Since 2003, Adrienne Hindmarsh has focused on the rare craft of the jazz organ. On Friday, HindmarshÕs subtly infectious organ will mark a jazz festival instrument first. Renowned guitarist Josh Hindmarsh will join along with Bart Weisman on the skins.

After their performance, String of Pearls will return to the festival. The talented trio of Holli Ross, Sue Halloran and Jeanne OÕConnor will harmonize and belt their array of classics, including Õ60s girl group standards, Andrews Sisters singles and original Brazilian-infused tracks. They will be accompanied by Weisman on drums, Fred Boyle on piano and Laird Boles on bass.

The festival continues at town hall Saturday night with headliner Stage Door Canteen. A mammoth 14-piece ensemble, the swing band has been touring the East Coast and Ireland for more than a decade. Its set list varies – from romping originals to smooth Van Morrison covers.  Jazz vocalist Dane Vannatter will open the concert.

On Monday the festival concludes at Cotuit Center for the Arts with performances by String of PearlÕs Ross, Vannatter and Bruce Abbott.
