Louis Armstrong & Joe Muranyi

Joe Muranyi has had many wonderful years in the world of jazz!  His main focus is the clarinet but he’s been known to sing and play the saxophone. Joe’s career was capped (and blessed) by his five year stint with Louis Armstrong’s last All Stars Band.  He has worked with Roy Eldridge, Bobby Hackett, Billy Butterfield, Black Eagle Jazz Band, Doc Cheatham, Jimmy and Marian McPartland, Cape Cod’s Marie Marcus and Lou Colombo, to name a very few. His trips to Hungary are a joy as he can speak the language and is a featured guest with many Hungarian bands.  Joe has recorded often from 78s to CDs and he holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Columbia University.
